The hoodoo formations at Bryce Canyon are like nothing else I've seen. Row after row of them span out into a large canyon giving the appearance of a strange alien landscape. The reflected light between the rows makes the hoodoos glow with yellows and rich oranges, especially in early morning and late afternoon. Another great thing about being in such a remote area at nearly 10,000 feet above sea level is the clear night sky. During my visit, there was a full moon giving light to the hoodoos though thousands of stars and even the Milky Way could still be seen.
