Page, AZ is a great place to visit if you enjoy photography. While it may seem a bit off the beaten path, it is well worth the trip if you are in the area visiting the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park.
From just outside of Page, you can see the Vermillon Cliffs which contain a beautiful spectrum of color. Probably the most photogenic area in Page is the Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons. These spectacular slot canyons filter light in ways that make the smoothly carved sandstone glow. Being surrounded by the huge, sculpted walls is quite an experience. Horseshoe Bend is another photographic hotspot which is only a short hike from the road to a bend in the emerald green Colorado River.
